द्वादशमासेषु अष्टमी-व्रत-कथनम्
Account of the Aṣṭamī Vow Across the Twelve Months
फाल्गुने त्वसिताष्टम्यां भीमां देवीं समर्चयेत् । तत्र व्रतपरो विप्र सर्वकामसमृद्धये ॥ ९२ ॥
phālgune tvasitāṣṭamyāṃ bhīmāṃ devīṃ samarcayet | tatra vrataparo vipra sarvakāmasamṛddhaye || 92 ||
No mês de Phālguna, no oitavo dia lunar da quinzena escura, deve-se venerar a deusa Bhīmā com plena reverência. Ó brāhmaṇa, observando ali o voto com dedicação, alcança-se a completa realização e prosperidade de todos os fins desejados.
