Narada
Vrata: Putra-saptamī (contextual continuation)
Primary Rasa: shanta
Secondary Rasa: bhakti
It teaches that worship is completed not only by homa but also by honoring the learned twice-born through respectful feeding—making the rite fruitful through devotion expressed as service and giving.
Bhakti here is practical: after worship and homa, one serves sanctified food to worthy recipients, treating service (sevā) and generosity as an extension of reverence offered to the divine.
It highlights ritual discipline (kalpa/śrauta-smārta procedure): timing within the day, performing homa, and the prescribed post-rite brahmana-bhojana with specific foods as part of proper observance.
