Saptamī-vrata-prakāśana

शर्करासप्तमी चैव वाजिमेधफलप्रदा । सर्वदुःखोपशमनी पुत्रसंततिवर्धिनी ॥ २४ ॥

śarkarāsaptamī caiva vājimedhaphalapradā | sarvaduḥkhopaśamanī putrasaṃtativardhinī || 24 ||

A observância da «Śarkarā-saptamī» concede, de fato, o fruto do sacrifício Aśvamedha. Ela apazigua todas as dores e aumenta a prole e a continuidade da linhagem.
