Transliteration

yato niḥsādhano dharmaḥ parimāṇojjhitā ratiḥ dhanaṃ jīvitaparyāptaṃ patyau nāryāḥ pratiṣṭhitam //

Translation

Pois o dharma não se realiza sem meios adequados; o amor que ignora a devida medida torna-se ruinoso; e a riqueza suficiente para o sustento—segurança e posição da mulher—está firmada no esposo.
