विष्टभ्य चरणौ देव्या वीरको बाष्पगद्गदम् प्रोवाच मातः किंत्वेतत् क्व यासि कुपितान्तरा //

Transliteration

viṣṭabhya caraṇau devyā vīrako bāṣpagadgadam provāca mātaḥ kiṃtvetat kva yāsi kupitāntarā //

Translation

Agarrou-se aos pés da Deusa, e Vīraka—com a voz embargada pelas lágrimas—disse: “Mãe, que é isto? Para onde vais, com a ira ardendo dentro de ti?”
