Matsya Purana — Brahmā’s Four Faces

चतुर्थम् अभवत् पश्चाद् वामं कामशरातुरम् ततो ऽन्यद् अभवत् तस्य कामातुरतया तथा //

caturtham abhavat paścād vāmaṃ kāmaśarāturam tato 'nyad abhavat tasya kāmāturatayā tathā //

Depois disso, surgiu uma quarta forma—à esquerda—afligida pelas flechas do desejo; e então, dela mesma, veio a existir ainda outra, do mesmo modo, por estar atormentada pela paixão.
