Adhyaya 69 — The King’s Neglect of His Wife and the Restoration of Dharma
पक्षेण कर्मणो हान्या प्रयात्यस्पर्शतां नरः ।
विण्मूत्रैर्वार्षिकी यस्य हानिस्ते नित्यकर्मणः ॥
pakṣeṇa karmaṇo hānyā prayāty asparśatāṃ naraḥ | viṇ-mūtrair vārṣikī yasya hānis te nitya-karmaṇaḥ ||
Pela perda dos ritos prescritos por uma quinzena, o homem cai em impureza ritual (como “intocável”). Para aquele cuja purificação ocorre apenas uma vez ao ano com fezes e urina, isso equivale à perda dos deveres diários.
