Adhyaya 58 — The Kurma-Form of Narayana: Mapping Bharata through Nakshatras, Regions, and Planetary Afflictions

The Purāṇa acknowledges collective conditions (social or regional) beyond individual control, encouraging solidarity and prudent leadership when signs indicate strain.
Supports loka-saṃsthā (ordering of the world) as an ancillary Purāṇic aim; not a primary pancalakṣaṇa item but commonly embedded within manvantara expositions.
‘Sāmānya’ suggests archetypal patterns: recurring signatures in time that imprint on collective psyche and events.
