Adhyaya 41 — Yogic Conduct and the Discipline Leading to Siddhi
अथ नित्यं गृहस्थेषु शालीनैषु चरेद्यतिः । श्रद्धधानेषु दान्तेषु श्रोत्रियेṣu महात्मसु ॥
atha nityaṃ gṛhastheṣu śālīneṣu cared yatiḥ | śraddadhāneṣu dānteṣu śrotriyeṣu mahātmasu ||
Portanto, o renunciante deve ir regularmente entre os chefes de família que são śālīna (respeitáveis, estabelecidos e disciplinados), fiéis, autocontrolados, śrotriya (versados nas Escrituras) e de ânimo nobre.

A yogin’s sustenance is also an ethical relationship: receiving from the disciplined and faithful supports purity of mind and avoids complicity in adharmic livelihoods.
