पितृतīrthena तोयं च दद्यात्तेभ्यः समाहितः ।

पितॄniddiśya यद्भक्त्या यजमानो नृपात्मज ॥

Transliteration

pitṛtīrthena toyañca dadyāttebhyaḥ samāhitaḥ / pitṝniddiśya yadbhaktyā yajamāno nṛpātmaja

Translation

Com serenidade e atenção, ele deve oferecer-lhes água usando o pitṛ-tīrtha (a posição/canal da mão destinado aos ancestrais). Tudo o que fizer com devoção, dedicando-o aos pitṛs, ó filho de rei (nṛpātmaja), é esse o espírito correto do ato.
