Adhyaya 23 — Ashvatara’s Vow for Madalasa and the Bestowal of Musical Science by Sarasvati
एतत् सत्यं विजानीतं युवां प्राणा बहिश्चराः ।
पुनर्नैवं विभिन्नार्थं वक्तव्यं द्विजसत्तमौ ॥
etat satyaṃ vijānītaṃ yuvāṃ prāṇā bahiścarāḥ / punar naivaṃ vibhinnārthaṃ vaktavyaṃ dvijasattamau
«Sabei que isto é verdadeiro: vós dois sois a minha própria vida movendo-se fora (de mim). Portanto, ó melhor entre os duas-vezes-nascidos, não torneis a falar de modo que divida o nosso propósito.»
