Strī-dharma (as framed in Purāṇic ethics)Pativratā idealTapas through serviceSocial-ethical instruction

FAQs

The text valorizes steadfastness and service as a form of tapas, presenting pativratā-dharma as socially and spiritually potent. Ethically, it elevates fidelity and disciplined conduct as forces that can protect and heal.

Ācāra/dharma teaching embedded in narrative; not one of the five formal purāṇic topics, but a common purāṇic pedagogical layer supporting vaṃśānucarita storytelling.

‘Ārādhya’ implies worship-worthy: disciplined relational dharma is treated as a sādhana that generates śakti (efficacy). The ‘household vow’ is re-read as inner yogic steadiness.
