Adhyaya 11 — The Son’s Discourse on Embryogenesis, Birth, and the Wheel of Saṃsāra
तेनाभिभूतं तत्स्थैर्यं याति बीजद्वयं पितः ।
कललत्वं बुद्बुदत्वं ततः पेशित्वमेव च ॥
tenābhibhūtaṃ tat sthairyaṃ yāti bījadvayaṃ pitaḥ | kalalatvaṃ budbudatvaṃ tataḥ peśitvam eva ca ||
Ó pai, vencidas por esse processo, as duas sementes alcançam um estado definido: primeiro tornam-se “kalala” (uma massa gelatinosa), depois “budbuda” (uma forma semelhante a bolha) e então, de fato, “peśī” (um nódulo carnoso).
