भूमौ स्वपद्भिर्नात्यन्तं क्लेशमाप्नोति बान्धवैः ।
दानं ददद्भिश्च तथा जन्तुराप्याय्यते मृतः ॥
bhūmau svapadbhirnātyantaṃ kleśamāpnoti bāndhavaiḥ /
dānaṃ dadadbhiśca tathā janturāpyāyyate mṛtaḥ
Na terra, movendo-se com os próprios pés, ele não sofre em demasia por causa dos parentes; do mesmo modo, quando eles fazem dádivas (em seu nome), o ser morto é nutrido e sustentado.
