सर्वे कालस्य वेत्तार: कृच्छरूपधरा: स्थिता: । प्रविशेयुर्जितक्रोधास्तावदेव पुनर्वनम्
sarve kālasya vettāraḥ kṛcchrarūpadharāḥ sthitāḥ | praviśeyur jitakrodhās tāvad eva punar vanam ||
Disse Vaiśampāyana: “Todos eles conhecem o limite fixo do tempo. Por isso devem estar ocultos, tendo assumido um disfarce difícil de reconhecer. Portanto, deveis apressar-vos em descobri-los, para que—refreando a ira—retornem à floresta pelo tempo restante, isto é, por doze anos. Só então meu reino permanecerá seguro por muito tempo, sem ansiedade e sem espinhos (isto é, sem ameaça nem aflição).”
