Virāṭa-parva Adhyāya 22 — Draupadī’s Abduction Attempt and Bhīma’s Suppression of the Kīcakas

त॑ सम्मथितसर्वाजू मांसपिण्डोपमं कृतम्‌ | कृष्णाया दर्शयामास भीमसेनो महाबल:,महाबली भीमने उसका सारा शरीर मथ डाला और उसे मांसका लोंदा-सा बना दिया। इसके बाद उन्होंने द्रौपदीको दिखाया

taṁ sammathita-sarvāṅgaṁ māṁsa-piṇḍopamaṁ kṛtam | kṛṣṇāyā darśayāmāsa bhīmaseno mahābalaḥ ||

Disse Vaiśampāyana: Bhīmasena, de grande poder, esmagou todos os seus membros e reduziu-o a algo como um naco de carne; depois mostrou o corpo dilacerado a Kṛṣṇā (Draupadī).
