Lomaśa’s Counsel and the Resolve for Pilgrimage
The verse affirms Nārāyaṇa/Viṣṇu as the eternal Supreme Person who transcends time (past, present, future) and highlights the ethical-spiritual value of pilgrimage and remembrance of the divine: approaching the sacred hermitage of Nara-Nārāyaṇa at Badarikā is portrayed as puṇya-producing and dharma-supporting.
Dhaumya identifies the supreme deity (Nārāyaṇa/Viṣṇu) and points to His celebrated sacred locale near the Badarī forest—Badarikā-āśrama—known as the hermitage of Nara and Nārāyaṇa, renowned across the three worlds for its sanctity and merit-bestowing power.
