Prācī-diś Tīrtha-kathana
महर्षीणामिदं गुह्ां सर्वपापप्रमोचनम् | अधीत्य द्विजमध्ये च निर्मल: स्वर्गमाप्तुयात्,यह महर्षियोंका गोपनीय रहस्य है। सब पापोंका नाश करनेवाला है। द्विजमण्डलीमें इस गंगा-माहात्म्यका पाठ करके मनुष्य निर्मल हो स्वर्गलोकमें पहुँच जाता है
maharṣīṇām idaṁ guhyaṁ sarvapāpapramocanam | adhītya dvijamadhye ca nirmalaḥ svargam āpnuyāt |
Pulastya disse: “Isto é um ensinamento secreto pertencente aos grandes videntes, um meio que liberta de todos os pecados. Tendo-o estudado e recitado na assembleia dos duas-vezes-nascidos (dvija), a pessoa se purifica e alcança o mundo celeste.”
