अथ गच्छेत राजेन्द्र देविकां लोकविश्रुताम् । प्रसूतिर्यत्र विप्राणां श्रूयते भरतर्षभ,भरतवंशशिरोमणे! राजेन्द्र! वहाँसे लोकविख्यात देविकातीर्थकी यात्रा करे, जहाँ ब्राह्मणोंकी उत्पत्ति सुनी जाती है
atha gacchet rājendra devikāṃ lokaviśrutām | prasūtir yatra viprāṇāṃ śrūyate bharatarṣabha ||
Depois, ó melhor dos reis, deves seguir para o tīrtha Devikā, célebre no mundo—ó touro entre os Bhāratas—pois se diz que ali se ouve falar da origem dos Brāhmaṇas.
