दमयन्ती-शपथः वायोः साक्ष्यं च
Damayantī’s Oath and Vāyu’s Testimony
यच्चान्यदपि पश्येथास्तच्चाख्येयं त्वया मम । “बाहुकके इन सब चरित्रोंकी समीक्षा करके फिर मुझे सब बात बताना। बाहुकमें यदि तुम्हें कोई दिव्य अथवा मानवोचित विशेषता दिखायी दे तथा और भी जो कोई विशेषता दृष्टिगोचर हो तो उसपर भी दृष्टि रखना और मुझे आकर बताना'
yaccānyad api paśyethās taccākhyeyaṃ tvayā mama |
Disse Bṛhadaśva: “E tudo o mais que observares, isso também deves relatar-me. Depois de examinares com cuidado todos os feitos e traços de Bāhuka, vem e conta-me tudo. Se em Bāhuka notares alguma qualidade extraordinária—seja divina ou própria de um homem—e qualquer outro sinal distintivo, mantém-no em vista e informa-me.”
