Transmission of Akṣa-hṛdaya; Kali’s Exit and the Bibhītaka Refuge
The passage highlights purposeful, timely action in service of an auspicious and ethical aim—reuniting separated family members—while honoring trustworthy assistance (Sudeva’s role) and avoiding delay in duties.
Bṛhadaśva instructs that Sudeva should promptly travel from the current place to Ayodhyā to bring Nala’s mother, with the stated goal of bringing King Nala to the present location and completing an intended reunion.
