Sudeva Identifies Damayantī in Cedi (सुदेवेन दमयन्ती-परिचयः)
स तत्र पूज्यमाना वै दमयन्ती व्यनन्दत । सर्वकामै: सुविहितैर्निरुद्वेशावसत् तदा,सुनन्दा दमयन्तीके इच्छानुसार सब प्रकारकी व्यवस्था करके उसे बड़े आदर-सत्कारके साथ रखने लगी। इससे दमयन्तीको बड़ी प्रसन्नता हुई और वह वहाँ उद्वेगरहित हो रहने लगी
sā tatra pūjyamānā vai damayantī vyanandata | sarvakāmaiḥ suvihitair nirudvegāvasat tadā ||
Ali, sendo devidamente honrada, Damayantī sentiu grande alegria. Com todo conforto cuidadosamente providenciado para ela, passou então a viver naquele lugar livre de ansiedade e perturbação—recebendo cuidados respeitosos e encontrando calma em suas circunstâncias.
