तेषां भीमो महाबाहु: पार्थिवानां महात्मनाम् | यथाहमकरोत् पूजां तेडवसंस्तत्र पूजिता:,महाबाहु राजा भीमने वहाँ पधारे हुए उन महामना नरेशोंका यथायोग्य पूजन किया। तत्पश्चात् वे उनसे पूजित हो वहीं रहने लगे
teṣāṃ bhīmo mahābāhuḥ pārthivānāṃ mahātmanām | yathāham akarot pūjāṃ te ’vasan tatra pūjitāḥ ||
Disse Bṛhadaśva: Entre aqueles reis de grande alma, Bhīma, de braços poderosos, ofereceu a hospitalidade e as honras devidas, segundo o que era apropriado. Assim respeitados por Bhīma, permaneceram ali, satisfeitos sob seus cuidados corteses—mostrando o dharma de acolher hóspedes e honrar os dignos.
बृहदश्चव उवाच
The verse highlights the dharma of pūjā—properly honoring guests and worthy persons. Even amid hardship, noble conduct is shown through respectful reception, reinforcing social and royal ethics.
Bṛhadaśva narrates that Bhīma received a group of noble kings with fitting honors. Pleased and respected, those kings then remained there, staying on after being duly welcomed.
