The verse emphasizes dharma through disciplined, continual service and reverence toward Brahmins, treating them as ‘brāhmaṇa-devatāḥ’—worthy of worshipful honor—thus framing service as a moral and religious obligation.
The speaker states that a significant responsibility has been entrusted to a young woman (“vatse”) and instructs her to maintain steady self-discipline and to continue the prescribed honoring/service of Brahmins as an ongoing duty.
