कुन्तीगर्भगोपनम् तथा मञ्जूषाप्रवाहः

Kuntī’s concealed childbirth and the river-borne casket

रावणान्तकरं घोरें ब्रह्मदण्डमिवोद्यतम्‌ । तदनन्तर श्रीरामचन्द्रजीने उठे हुए ब्रह्मदण्डके समान भयंकर तथा अप्रतिम तेजस्वी उस रावणविनाशक बाणको छोड़ दिया

rāvaṇāntakaraṃ ghore brahmadaṇḍam ivodyatam |

Mārkaṇḍeya disse: Então Śrī Rāmacandra disparou aquela flecha destruidora de Rāvaṇa — terrível em seu poder, ardendo com um esplendor incomparável, como o temível bastão de Brahmā (Brahma-daṇḍa) erguido ao alto — um ato que assinala a culminação justa do castigo sobre um tirano que violara o dharma.
