यस्मात् तु लोके दृश्यन्ते क्षमिण: पृथिवीसमा: । तस्माज्जन्म च भूतानां भवश्च प्रतिपद्यते,इस जगतमें पृथ्वीके समान क्षमाशील पुरुष भी देखे जाते हैं, इसीलिये प्राणियोंकी उत्पत्ति और वृद्धि होती रहती है
yasmāt tu loke dṛśyante kṣamiṇaḥ pṛthivīsamāḥ | tasmāj janma ca bhūtānāṃ bhavaś ca pratipadyate ||
Porque, neste mundo, veem-se homens indulgentes, semelhantes à terra em sua tolerância; por isso o nascimento dos seres e a continuidade de seu crescimento e devir prosseguem sem interrupção. O perdão, firme e sustentador como a terra, é apresentado como condição para que a vida e a sociedade perdurem.
