मुहूर्तमेवमभवद् वज्वेगप्रमाथिनो: । सौमित्रेश्न महाबाहो: सम्प्रहार: सुदारुणग:,इस प्रकार वज्रवेग, प्रमाथी और महाबाहु लक्ष्मणका वह भयंकर संग्राम दो घड़ीतक अबाधगतिसे चलता रहा
muhūrtam evam abhavad vajravega-pramāthinoḥ | saumitreś ca mahābāhoḥ samprahāraḥ sudāruṇaḥ ||
Disse Mārkaṇḍeya: Assim, por um muhūrta inteiro, o choque entre Vajravega e Pramāthin de um lado e o poderoso Saumitri (Lakṣmaṇa) do outro prosseguiu em fúria—um combate terrível, movido por força e determinação ininterruptas.
