Righteous leadership recognizes and honors virtuous service: Hanumān’s daring act is framed as disciplined, purposeful action for dharma, and Rāma’s response models gratitude, respect for merit, and ethical appreciation of well-spoken truthful counsel.
Hanumān reports that he intentionally allowed himself to be captured, then burned Laṅkā and returned across the ocean; upon hearing this successful mission report, Rāma respectfully honors him for his effective and well-conveyed service.
