द्विमासोपरमे काले व्यतीते प्लवगास्ततः । सुग्रीवमभिगम्येदं त्वरिता वाक्यमन्रुवन्,दो मास व्यतीत हो जानेपर कुछ वानर बड़ी उतावलीके साथ सुग्रीवके पास आये और इस प्रकार कहने लगे---
dvimāsoparame kāle vyatīte plavagās tataḥ | sugrīvam abhigamyedaṃ tvaritā vākyam anvruvan ||
Quando se escoou ainda o prazo de dois meses, os macacos apressaram-se a ir a Sugriva e, com urgência, disseram estas palavras—
मार्कण्डेय उवाच
The verse underscores accountability to time-bound commitments: when a promised period passes, responsible followers remind the leader, pressing him to act in accordance with dharma and pledged duty.
After two months have passed, the monkeys urgently approach Sugriva and begin to speak, indicating a turning point where delay is no longer acceptable and action is demanded.
