Transliteration

ity ukto lakṣmaṇo bhrātrā guruvākyahite rataḥ | pratasthē ruciraṁ gṛhmu samārgaṇaguṇaṁ dhanuḥ ||

Translation

Assim interpelado por seu irmão, Lakṣmaṇa—devotado ao que é benéfico e em conformidade com o conselho dos anciãos—partiu de imediato, empunhando um arco esplêndido, dotado das qualidades necessárias para a batalha.
