तस्याभिपतततस्तूर्ण गदाहस्तस्य संयुगे । गदां सर्वायसी पार्थ: शरैश्षिच्छेद सप्तधा
tasyābhipatatastūrṇaṃ gadāhastasya saṃyuge | gadāṃ sarvāyasīṃ pārthaḥ śaraiś ciccheda saptadhā ||
Vaiśaṃpāyana disse: Quando aquele guerreiro, de maça em punho, avançou velozmente no auge da batalha, Pārtha (Arjuna) cortou com suas flechas a maça inteiramente de ferro em sete pedaços — um feito que revela perícia disciplinada e força medida em meio ao caos do combate.
