धृतराष्ट्रस्य क्रतु-प्रवर्तनम् तथा पाण्डवानां निमन्त्रण-प्रतिवचनम्
Dhṛtarāṣṭra’s Sacrifice Commences and the Pandavas’ Reply to the Invitation
ताननादृत्य गन्धर्वास्तद् वनं विविशुर्महत् । यदा वाचा न तिष्ठन्ति धार्तराष्ट्रा: सराजका:
tān anādṛtya gandharvāstad vanaṁ viviśur mahat | yadā vācā na tiṣṭhanti dhārtarāṣṭrāḥ sarājakāḥ ||
Desprezando-os, os Gandharvas penetraram naquela vasta floresta. Pois, quando os Dhārtarāṣṭras—junto com o seu rei—não se atêm a palavras ponderadas, tornam-se indomáveis e avançam impetuosos apesar de todo conselho.
