Kaurava Court Hears of the Pāṇḍavas’ Forest Hardship (वैचित्रवीर्यवंशीयस्य राज्ञः करुणाविचारः)
अथापश्यत् स उदये भास्करं भास्करघ्युति: | सोम॑ चैव महाभागं विशमानं दिवाकरम्,तदनन्तर सूर्यके समान तेजस्वी इन्द्रने देखा, सूर्य उदयाचलपर आ गये हैं। महाभाग चन्द्रमा भी सूर्यमें ही प्रवेश कर रहे हैं
athāpaśyat sa udaye bhāskaraṃ bhāskaradyutiḥ | somaṃ caiva mahābhāgaṃ viśamānaṃ divākaram |
Disse Mārkaṇḍeya: Então, ao nascer do sol, ele contemplou o Sol — radiante com o próprio esplendor do Sol. E viu também a ilustre Lua entrando no Sol.
