Adhyāya 22: Śālva’s Weapon-Shower, Dāruka’s Wounding, and the Māyā-Report of Vasudeva’s Father
हतास्ते दानवा: सर्वे यै: स शब्द उदीरित: । शरैरादित्यसंकाशैज्वलितै: शब्दसाधनै:,जिन दानवोंने पहले कोलाहल किया था, वे सब सूर्यके समान तेजस्वी शब्दवेधी बाणोंद्वारा मारे गये
hatās te dānavāḥ sarve yaiḥ sa śabda udīritaḥ | śarair āditya-saṅkāśaiḥ jvalitaiḥ śabda-sādhanaiḥ ||
Vāyu disse: “Todos aqueles Dānavas que haviam levantado aquele alarido foram mortos — abatidos por flechas ardentes, brilhantes como o sol, armas que miram guiadas pelo próprio som. Assim, o ruído que desencadearam tornou-se o meio pelo qual foram encontrados e destruídos.”
