Adhyāya 22: Śālva’s Weapon-Shower, Dāruka’s Wounding, and the Māyā-Report of Vasudeva’s Father

तस्मिन्‌ निपतिते सौभे चक्रमागात्‌ करं मम | पुनश्चादाय वेगेन शाल्वायेत्यहमब्रुवम्‌,सौभविमानके गिरनेपर चक्र फिर मेरे हाथमें आ गया। मैंने फिर उसे लेकर वेगपूर्वक चलाया और कहा--“अबकी बार शाल्वको मारनेके लिये तुम्हें छोड़ रहा हूँ”

tasmin nipatite saubhe cakram āgāt karaṁ mama | punaś cādāya vegena śālvāyety aham abruvam ||

Quando a cidade aérea de Saubha tombou, o disco retornou à minha mão. Tomei-o de novo com ímpeto veloz e declarei: “Agora eu te libero mais uma vez—desta vez para abater Śālva.”
