आरण्यकपर्वणि अध्यायः २१६ — इन्द्र-स्कन्द-संमुखता वज्रप्रहारश्च
Indra approaches Skanda; vajra strike and the arising of Viśākha
अजानता कृतमिदं मयेत्यहमथाब्रुवम् क्षन्तुमहसि मे सर्वमिति चोक्तो मया मुनि:,मैंने साहस करके उन मुनीश्वरसे कहा--“भगवन्! अनजानमें मेरे द्वारा यह अपराध बन गया है। अतः आप यह सब क्षमा कर दें”
ajānatā kṛtam idaṃ mayeti aham athābruvam | kṣantum arhasi me sarvam iti cokto mayā muniḥ ||
Então eu falei, confessando: “Ó venerável muni, isto foi feito por mim sem saber. Perdoa-me por tudo.” Assim me dirigi ao sábio, assumindo a responsabilidade e suplicando perdão por um erro não intencional.
व्याध उवाच
Even when a wrong is unintentional, dharma calls for honest acknowledgment, humility, and seeking forgiveness; moral responsibility includes repairing harm, not merely claiming ignorance.
The hunter addresses a sage, confessing that the offense occurred unknowingly and requesting complete pardon, framing the encounter around accountability and the possibility of forgiveness.
