स्कन्दोपाख्यानम् — उत्पातशान्तिः, स्वाहारूपविचारः, कौमारमङ्गलक्रियाः

ततस्तं ब्राह्मुणं ताभ्यां धर्मव्याधो न्यवेदयत्‌ । तौ स्वागतेन तं विप्रमर्चयामासतुस्तदा,तदनन्तर धर्मव्याधने अपने माता-पिताको उस कौशिक ब्राह्मणका परिचय दिया। तब उन दोनोंने भी स्वागतपूर्वक ब्राह्मणका पूजन किया

Transliteration

tatastaṃ brāhmaṇaṃ tābhyāṃ dharmavyādho nyavedayat | tau svāgatena taṃ vipram arcayāmāsatus tadā |

Translation

Então o açougueiro justo apresentou aquele brāhmaṇa a seus pais. Em seguida, ambos o acolheram com a hospitalidade devida e o honraram com reverente culto—mostrando que o verdadeiro dharma se expressa na conduta respeitosa para com o hóspede e os virtuosos, independentemente da posição social.
