Guṇa-vibhāga and Prāṇa–Agni–Yoga Upadeśa
The verse implicitly highlights the ethical weight of seeking and heeding wise counsel: the movement of a rājarṣi and dvijottama toward the forest signals that dharma-guided knowledge is carried through journeys and transmitted through timely encounters.
Mārkaṇḍeya reports that Uttāḍaka learns Bṛhadaśva has departed for the forest. This functions as a narrative transition, setting up the next interaction or instruction connected with Bṛhadaśva’s forest-going.
