Educational Q&A

Life presents countless triggers for grief and fear, but the decisive factor is one’s discernment: the deluded mind is repeatedly overwhelmed, while the wise remain inwardly steady and are not ruled by such emotions.

Vaiśampāyana continues a reflective, didactic statement within the Vana Parva context, offering a general moral observation about human vulnerability to sorrow and fear and the resilience of the wise.
