प्रावृट्-शरत्-वर्णनम् — Description of the Monsoon and Autumn; Sarasvatī in the Pāṇḍavas’ Exile
मृगाणां स वराहाणां महिषाणां महाभुज: विनिष्नंस्तत्र तत्रेव भीमो भीमपराक्रम:
mṛgāṇāṃ sa varāhāṇāṃ mahiṣāṇāṃ mahābhujaḥ | viniṣṇan tatra tatraiva bhīmo bhīmaparākramaḥ ||
Disse Vaiśampāyana: Bhīma, de braços poderosos —cuja valentia era de fato temível—, entregou-se à caça e, aqui e ali, abatia veados, javalis e até búfalos selvagens. O trecho ressalta a força formidável de Bhīma e o tom áspero da vida na floresta, onde caçar é ao mesmo tempo demonstração de poder e meio de sustento para os que vivem no exílio.
