Kubera-prasāda-vihāra and Counsel on Ajñātavāsa (कुबेरप्रसादविहारः तथा अज्ञातवासोपदेशः)
तत: शक्रेण भगवान् स्वयंभूरिति चोदितः विधत्तां भगवानन्तमात्मनो हितकाम्यया,तब इन्द्रने भगवान् ब्रह्माजीसे इस प्रकार निवेदन किया--'प्रभो! अपने (और हमारे) हितके लिये आप ही इन दानवोंका अन्त कीजिये'
tataḥ śakreṇa bhagavān svayaṃbhūr iti coditaḥ | vidhattāṃ bhagavān antaṃ ātmano hitakāmyayā ||
Então, instigados por Śakra (Indra), rogaram ao Bem-aventurado Senhor Auto-nascido, Brahmā: “Ó Senhor, para o bem de ti mesmo e de todos nós, põe fim a estes demônios.”
अजुन उवाच
The verse presents the ethical framing of necessary force: the end of destructive beings is sought as a duty to protect welfare and uphold cosmic order, not as personal hatred.
Indra (Śakra) urges Brahmā (Svayaṃbhū) to bring about the destruction of certain Dānavas, appealing to the welfare of all concerned.
