Kubera-prasāda-vihāra and Counsel on Ajñātavāsa (कुबेरप्रसादविहारः तथा अज्ञातवासोपदेशः)
गाण्डीवमुक्ता विशिखा: सम्यगस्त्रप्रचोदिता: । अच्चछिन्दनुत्तमाड़नि यत्र यत्र सम ते3भवन्,मेरे गाण्डीव धनुषसे छूटे हुए बाण विधिवत प्रयुक्त दिव्यास्त्रोंसे प्रेरित हो जहाँ-जहाँ वे दैत्य थे, वहीं जाकर उनके सिर काटने लगे
arjuna uvāca | gāṇḍīvamuktā viśikhāḥ samyag astrapracoditāḥ | acchindann uttamāṅgāni yatra yatra sametya te 'bhavan ||
Arjuna disse: “As flechas que libertei do meu Gāṇḍīva—disparadas com perfeição e impelidas por armas divinas—iam aonde quer que aqueles inimigos estivessem reunidos, e ali começaram a decepar-lhes as cabeças.”
अजुन उवाच
The verse highlights disciplined, rule-bound martial action: power is not mere violence but a controlled use of skill and divinely sanctioned weapons in the service of a warrior’s duty (kṣatriya-dharma), aimed at restoring order against hostile forces.
Arjuna describes how the arrows he released from the Gāṇḍīva, empowered by invoked astras, unfailingly sought out the assembled enemies and struck them down, severing their heads wherever they were found.
