Display of Divine Weapons and Its Prohibition
धारा दिवि च सम्बद्धा वसुधायां च सर्वश: । व्यामोहयन्त मां तत्र निपतन्त्योडनिशं भुवि,स्वर्गसे लेकर पृथ्वीतक एक सूत्रमें आबद्ध-सी होकर पृथ्वीपर सब ओर जलकी धाराएँ लगातार गिर रही थीं, जिन्होंने वहाँ मुझे मोहमें डाल दिया था
dhārā divi ca sambaddhā vasudhāyāṃ ca sarvaśaḥ | vyāmohayanta māṃ tatra nipatantyoḍaniśaṃ bhuvi ||
Disse Arjuna: “Dos céus até a terra, como se estivessem ligados por um único fio, correntes de água caíam por toda parte sobre o chão sem cessar. Naquele lugar, sua queda incessante confundiu minha mente.”
अजुन उवाच
The verse highlights how overwhelming natural phenomena can disturb clarity of mind (moha). Ethically, it points to the need for steadiness and discernment when confronted with powerful sensory experiences.
Arjuna narrates a scene where continuous sheets/streams of water fall from the sky to the earth in all directions, creating an awe-inspiring, disorienting atmosphere that leaves him mentally bewildered.
