अयं च शंखप्रवरो येन जेतासि दानवान् | अनेन विजिता लोका: शक्रेणापि महात्मना,“यह श्रेष्ठ शंख है, जिसे बजानेसे तुम्हें दानवोंपर विजय प्राप्त हो सकती है। महामना इन्द्रने भी इसके द्वारा सम्पूर्ण लोकोंपर विजय पायी है'
ayaṃ ca śaṅkhapravaro yena jetāsi dānavān | anena vijitā lokāḥ śakreṇāpi mahātmanā |
Arjuna disse: “E este é o mais excelente dos búzios; ao soá-lo, poderás conquistar os Dānavas. Por este mesmo búzio, diz-se que até Śakra (Indra), de grande alma, alcançou o domínio sobre os mundos.”
