उदीचीं दीपयन्नेष दिशं तिष्ठति वीर्यवान्‌ | महामेरुर्महा भाग शिवो ब्रह्मविदां गति:

Translation

“Ó venturoso!” Eis o Mahāmeru, a montanha de brilho intensíssimo, erguida a iluminar o norte. A essa montanha auspiciosa só podem chegar os conhecedores de Brahman, os sábios da ciência suprema.
