देवदानवगन्धर्वयक्षराक्षसपन्नगा: । नासन् कृतयुगे तात तदा न क्रयविक्रय:,तात! कृतयुगमें देवता, दानव, गन्धर्व, यक्ष, राक्षस और नाग नहीं थे, अर्थात् ये परस्पर भेद-भाव नहीं रखते थे। उस समय क्रय-विक्रयका व्यवहार भी नहीं था
devadānavagandharvayakṣarākṣasapannagāḥ | nāsan kṛtayuge tāta tadā na krayavikrayaḥ ||
Bhīma disse: “Meu filho, no Kṛta Yuga não havia classes separadas como deuses, dānava, Gandharvas, Yakṣas, Rākṣasas ou serpentes (nāgas) — não existia divisão nem hostilidade entre naturezas. Nessa era, nem mesmo a prática de comprar e vender existia.”
