Bhīmasena–Hanūmān Saṃvāda: The Tail Test and the Divine Path
तं तु नाद॑ ततः श्रुत्वा मुक्त वारणपुड़वै: । भ्रातरं भीमसेनं तु विज्ञाय हनुमान् कपि:,बड़े-बड़े गजराजोंका वह चीत्कार सुनकर कपिप्रवर हनुमानजी, जो उस समय कदलीवनमें ही रहते थे, यह समझ गये कि मेरे भाई भीमसेन इधर आये हैं
taṃ tu nādaṃ tataḥ śrutvā mukta-vāraṇa-puṅgavaiḥ | bhrātaraṃ bhīmasenaṃ tu vijñāya hanumān kapiḥ |
Disse Vaiśampāyana: Ouvindo aquele brado—erguido por elefantes poderosos, senhores do seu bando—Hanumān, o mais eminente entre os macacos, compreendeu que o seu irmão Bhīmasena viera por aquele caminho.
वैशम्पायन उवाच
True strength is guided by discernment and right relationship: Hanumān’s immediate recognition of Bhīma underscores awareness, restraint, and the role of elders/kin in directing power toward dharma.
A loud commotion—likened to the cries of great elephants—reaches Hanumān in the Kadali forest. From this, he realizes that Bhīma, his brother (both being sons of Vāyu), has arrived nearby, preparing the encounter that follows.
