Kirmīra-rākṣasa-saṃgamaḥ (Encounter and Slaying of Kirmīra) | किर्मीरेण सह भीमसेनसमागमः
निहतान् वल्लभान् वीक्ष्य शयानान् वसुधातले । यत् समर्थ पाण्डवानां तत् करिष्यामि मा शुच:,श्रीकृष्ण बोले--भाविनि! तुम जिनपर क्कुद्ध हुई हो, उनकी स्त्रियाँ भी अपने प्राणप्यारे पतियोंको अर्जुनके बाणोंसे छिन्न-भिन्न और खूनसे लथपथ हो मरकर धरतीपर पड़ा देख इसी प्रकार रोयेंगी। पाण्डवोंके हितके लिये जो कुछ भी सम्भव है, वह सब करूँगा, शोक न करो
nihatān vallabhān vīkṣya śayānān vasudhātale | yat samartha pāṇḍavānāṃ tat kariṣyāmi mā śucaḥ ||
Vāsudeva disse: «Tu te entristeces ao ver teus amados mortos, jazendo no chão. Tudo o que estiver ao meu alcance pelo bem dos Pāṇḍavas, eu o farei—não te aflijas.»
