कैलासं पर्वतं गत्वा तोषयामास शंकरम्‌ | तपस्तीव्रमुपागम्य कालयोगेन केनचित्‌,राजन! यह सुनकर महाराज भगीरथ कैलासपर्वतपर गये और वहाँ उन्होंने तीव्र तपस्या करके कुछ समयके बाद भगवान्‌ शंकरको प्रसन्न किया

Transliteration

kailāsaṃ parvataṃ gatvā toṣayāmāsa śaṅkaram | tapas tīvram upāgamya kālayogena kenacit, rājan |

Translation

Lomasha disse: “Ó rei, tendo ido ao Monte Kailāsa, ele agradou a Śaṅkara. Empreendendo austeridades severas e, após o tempo transcorrer no devido curso, alcançou o favor do Senhor.”
