तेषां मनश्न तेजश्वाप्पाददानाविवौजसा । पूर्वदेवी व्यतिक्रान्ती नरनारायणावृषी
teṣāṁ manaś ca tejaś ca apādadan iva ojasā | pūrvadevā vyatikrāntau nara-nārāyaṇāv ṛṣī ||
Vaiśampāyana disse: Pela simples força de sua energia espiritual, aqueles dois antigos sábios divinos, Nara e Nārāyaṇa, pareciam arrebatar as mentes e o esplendor de todos os presentes. Atravessando aquele lugar, seguiram adiante—assombrando a assembleia com uma radiância que humilhava o orgulho comum e recordava a lei mais alta, acima do poder mundano.
